PRESIDENT

DEPUTY
Yuna Shim

Hello delegates!

I am Na Ye Kim, a sophomore attending the International School of Tianjin. It is my utmost honor to serve you as the President of the General Assembly III in DIMUN XV.

Thinking back on my first MUN conference, I am familiar with the excitement and nerves you will experience during the conference. Nevertheless, through myriads of experiences, I was able to gradually adapt to the system and became confident in walking up to the podium and displaying diplomacy. Therefore, I hope to leverage my experience and knowledge to support your success as delegates.

As we embark on the start of this journey, I encourage all delegates to step out of their comfort zones and expand their perspectives on global social, humanitarian, and cultural affairs through fruitful debates in General Assembly III.

I look forward to creating a memorable conference together. See you all in March!
Hello everyone! My name is Yuna Shim, and I’m a freshman attending the International School of Beijing. It is my pleasure to serve as deputy president of GA3 for DIMUN XV.

I’ll be addressing the topic ‘The future of the UN’s sustainable development goals post-2030’.
Being a part of MUN has gifted me so many valuable memories with other delegates, chairs, admins, and secretariats, and also trained my diplomatic and collaboration skills, as well as gained my confidence in stepping up to the podium and expressing diplomatic thoughts. Hopefully, participating in DIMUN XV as a chair will gift me memorable memories, and will also gift all the delegates the same experience I had joining MUN.

As an advice to all delegates, please do not be afraid to speak up and express the opinions, because it is the only way you can improve and participate in the conference.
I look forward to a fruitful conference in March!
