My name is JaeHyun Cha, and I am currently a freshman attending Tianjin International School. It is my distinct honor to serve as the President of the Disarmament Commission in this year’s DIMUN conference.
​
Model United Nations is a unique platform allowing students to express their passions in public speaking, debating, and solving global issues. Over the course of my MUN journey, it transformed me from an inexperienced delegate hesitating to raise his placard to an ardent delegate confidently expressing his opinions.

Having experienced the transformative power that MUN holds, I strongly encourage all delegates to actively participate in the sessions to develop their public speaking, debating, and problem-solving skills.
